Affiliated to CSSC, Shaanxi Diesel Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is a professional complete equipment manufacturer of medium and high-speed marine diesel engines and generator sets. The Casting Division of Shaanxi Diesel Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is a secondary wholly-owned subsidiary of Shaanxi Diesel Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. as well as a major supplier for castings of high-speed diesel engine, wind power, turbine, etc. Covering a land area of 150,000m2, it is the only foundry in Northwest China specializing in low-temperature ductile iron, heat-resistant ductile iron, and vermicular iron castings.

The foundry has four workshops: Workshop 1 produces castings for medium and low-speed diesel engines, wind turbine frames (4.0MW–8.0MW), and large turbine castings, with a capacity of 30,000 tons. Workshop 2 focuses on medium and high-speed engine castings, including flywheels, with a capacity of 15,000 tons. Workshop 3 produces cylinder heads, high-speed engine bodies, and CNC machine beds, with a capacity of 5,000 tons.
